1 February 2024 – Annycent Capital is proud to announce its second round of investment in Kairos Renewables, the best-in-class independent renewables development platform in Southeast Asia. This deepens Annycent’s and Kairos’s work in the development of key wind and solar projects in Southeast Asia.

The additional capital will be used to continue the development of the company’s pipeline of more than 2 GW of wind power projects in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia by the end of 2024.

“It is Annycent’s conviction that the fast-growing demand for renewables in Southeast Asia will keep providing compelling investment opportunities. Kairos is best-in-class and a regional champion to meet this demand”, Annycent’s Managing Partner Cyrille Arnould commented.

Kairos was established in 2013 and is uniquely positioned as an independent renewables development platform based in and focused on Southeast Asia, with a team of 32 professionals operating from offices in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Kairos continues to follow a strategy focused on its wind power expertise and long-term relationships built with many of the region’s leading utility-scale renewable energy investors. Kairos is responsible for every stage of a project’s lifecycle, from origination to commercial operation and beyond. Kairos aims to develop at least 10 GW of wind and solar projects (which may include battery energy storage system components).
